Speaking and Consulting Work
Here are a few services that I’m offering up. Over the past few years I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing people and companies. If you are interested in having me speak or present, please know that I only take a few of these opportunities per year.
Presentation, Keynote, or Webinar for Your Class or School
I’d love to work with your company, organization, or teachers at your school. If you read my blog, book, or any of my writing you’ll know that I’m passionate about:
- the power of inquiry (20% time, Genius Hour, Passion Projects, etc)
- innovation in our schools
- how to implement systematic change
- educational technology with purpose
- how collaboration benefits everyone
- 1:1 initiatives and how to get started
- writing and technology with CCSS

Writing and Launch Consulting
Help You Launch Your Book/Product/Course
We all want to create things that matter. And create things that people will read/see/buy. However, it is a crowded market out there, and if you just “build it” they will most likely “not come”. In the past three years I’ve launched a startup, 6 eBooks, a Summer of Twitter Challenge, a MOOC, Project: Global Inform, and three group websites.
Have all been successful? No. But most have been. And I’ve learned from my mistakes. I’ve also quietly worked to help others launch their books and online courses in the past year. This is something I love doing.
Writing Mentoring Program
I love writing. I love publishing. I love helping other writers. Why? Because it helps me more than anything else in the world! I’ve had the opportunity to work with a few writers that mentored me. They helped me find my voice in blogging, and pushed me to write my first published book, “Inquiry and Innovation in the Classroom”, available online from Routledge Press.
